Release Notes

This release brings Archimedes a bit further in the way back to the old feature set existing. We've added a couple elements that were quite important as well as some features very useful.
It still lacks very important things such as saving and opening drawings (using our own format .arc) because this feature was not complete. We also lack trim, extend and intersection selection as well as any kind of compatibility to other software.

We are aware that this is a major issue and we are working on it but we only have limited resources to make the project advance.

Change log:
We have added the following features:
- Text element using a TTF font from Redhat (https://www.redhat.com/promo/fonts/).
- Layers are back with the current layer combo on the menu bar.
- The snap behaviour has been changed to override any orto configuration
- Moving and stretching by clicking on the snap points is possible again
- Dimensions have been added using the same text
- The mouse wheel zoom has been fixed under Windows.
- Edittext is available again (although double click does not invokes it yet).
- Zoom commands are back (but we already identified a bug regarding previous zoom)
- Pan is back also (again, the middle click isn't activating it yet)
- The rectangle element is back also.
- Cursors now change according to the current state of the interpreter.
- Snap point colors changed and now snaps light up once grabbed.

I believe this is mainly it.
